Ingredients

Base

  • 50 g oat flour

  • 40 g cocoa powder

  • 150 g peanut butter

  • 5 tbsp raw honey

  • 2 tsp melted coconut oil

  • Optional: 1 scoop chocolate protein powder

Date Caramel

  • 100 g Medjoul dates (pitted)

  • 2 tbsp peanut butter

Chocolate Topping

  • 120 g dark chocolate

  • Pinch of sea salt

How to Make the Brownie Date Bar

1️⃣ Base

Mix oat flour, cocoa powder (and protein powder if used).
Add peanut butter, honey, and coconut oil and mix into a firm dough.
Line a baking tin with parchment paper.
Press the mixture firmly into the tin and place in the refrigerator.

2️⃣ Date Caramel

Soak the dates in warm water for 15 minutes.
Blend with peanut butter into a smooth caramel and spread over the base.

3️⃣ Chocolate Topping

Melt the dark chocolate au bain-marie.
Pour over the caramel layer and sprinkle with a pinch of salt.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until set.

4️⃣ Slice & Enjoy

Cut into bars or cubes.
